A lecture on 2D and 3D Ultrasound in Basal Cell Carcinoma was performed at the Annual Course of Therapeutics in Dermatology organized by the Department of Dermatology, Hospital Clinico University of Chile, Faculty of Medicine, University of Chile, Santiago, Chile on August 16-18, 2012. ( course in Spanish).
The lecture "Top Advances on Dermatologic Ultrasound: Results of the Development of High-Frequency and Ultra-High-frequency was presented in a key note speaker session in the LatinoAmerican Symposium of Ultrasound (LAUS) 2021 organized by IEEE. The date of the presentation took place on October 5 2021.
The lecture on Top Applications of Ultrasound of the Nail took place in the "2021 Huaxia International Conference on Skin Imaging and Artificial Intelligence" (HSIC 2021), China, virtual lecture. July 2-4, 2021.

The forum session scheduled for AAD 2020 was suspended due to the pandemic. In the next future, the session "How Far We Can Get with Medical Imaging " will gather the imaging modalities working on dermatology including ultrasound. As soon as we have more information we will post it.
Due to Coronavirus, ECR ( European Congress of Radiology) was moved to July 15-19, 2020.
The Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD 2020, Denver, Colorado) had a forum session dedicated to Imaging called "How Far We Can Get with Medical Imaging " (Session F076). However, this session was canceled due to the pandemia and moved to the next year congress.This forum will gather the advances on imaging techniques used in dermatology, including ultrasound.
New!! Multiple dermatologic ultrasound activities were available at the Annual Convention of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) 2020. Nevertheless, the congress was canceled due to the pandemia.These activities included focused sessions, oral scientific presentations, meet-the-professor session and a workshop with interactive cases of dermatologic pathologies. The annual congress of AIUM was supposed to take place in New York, March 21-25, 2020.
New !!! The first dermatologic ultrasound session in the history of the Congress will take place at the European Congress of Radiology (ECR) 2020. Since the congress has been moved to July 2020 and will have an on line modality we will let you know the exact day and time of the session. The number of the session is US15 ( Common Applications of Dermatologic Ultrasound). The ECR Annual Congress wwas supposed to place in Vienna, March 11-15, 2020

The lecture "Key Ultrasound Concepts in Hidradenitis Suppurativa" took place at the Imaging Session of the European Hidradenitis Foundation Annual Conference ( February 8-10, 2017, Copenhagen, Denmark). The abstracts of the scientific oral presentations of this meeting were published in the Journal Experimental Dermatology 2017.
Dermatologic Ultrasound lectures were available at the Annual Course organized by the Radiology and Imaging College of Nueva Leon, in Monterrey, Mexico on November 2- 4, 2016.
An additional skin ultrasound lecture took place at AIUM WFUMB 2015 on "Sonography of Inflammatory Diseases of the Skin" at the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Session.

The lecture "Common Applications of Dermatologic Ultrasound" was presented in the Session: "From Muscle to Skin" that took place on March 31, 2014 ( 1:30- 3:30 pm) during the annual meeting of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) . The AIUM 2014 meeting was scheduled on March 29 - April 2 at the Caesars Palace Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
Six skin ultrasound scientific studies were presented as e-posters in the annual convention of the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM 2013) that was held in New York from April 6-10, 2013. This course had more than 2,500 attendees and was provided in spanish.

The pre-congress course took place on April 16-18,2012 at the beginning of the XVII Congress of Pan American League of Associations of Rheumatology from April 17th to April 21st, 2012, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. A session with 4 lectures and a workshop about Ultrasound in Dermatology was presented in EUROSON 2012 (European Congress of Ultrasound) that was held in Madrid, Spain on April 22-24, 2012. EUROSON 2012 was hosted by the European Federation of Societies for Ultrasound and Medicine in Biology (EFSUM) and the Spanish Society of Ultrasound (SEECO). ( English)
The lecture " Ultrasound in paediatric dermatology" took place at the Institute of Child Health on Guilford Street, next to Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, UK. This lecture was organized by the Department of Dermatology of Great Ormond Street Hospital, and was performed on March, Monday 14th, 2011.
The scientific poster "Cosmetic Fillers Complications: The role of Sonography" was presented in the AIUM annual convention that was held in New York on April 14-17 , 2011 and received an honorable mention
Skin ultrasound lectures and workshops were presented at the Annual Meeting of the "Sunny Route" (Ruta del Sol"), organized by the Northern Division of the Mexican Federation of Radiology, that was held in Mazatlan, Mexico, on September 15-17, 2011
Two lectures about skin ultrasound were presented in the Jornadas Paulistas de Radiologia 2011 that was held in Sao Paulo, Brazil from April 28 to May 1. The Jornadas Paulistas is the biggest radiological event in Latinoamerica and the quarter biggest radiological meeting in the world. It had aprox. 12.000 assistants.
Skin ultrasound was among the lectures of the course "Update in Ultrasound 2011" organized by the Diagnostic Imaging Department of Hospital Regional Espa?ol,and the Health Sciences Faculty of Universidad del Sur, Argentina.
